Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements:	This is a full-time position is required for a funded research project to study the structural, functional and genetic correlates of adjuvant treatments on cognition in older women with breast cancer. The Research Associate will have responsibility for conducting multi-site training to ensure standard administration of a complex battery of neuropsychological tests, recruit patients and friend controls, obtain consent, conduct in person neuropsychological tests and telephone interviews, manage and enter data and produce reports on study benchmarks and results. The Research Associate will work with area hospitals and practices to identify and recruit patients before they start treatment. This national, multi-site study requires significant attention to detail, data quality, ability to multi-task and strong inter-personal skills in order to interact with oncologists, surgeons, neurologists, patients and families. The incumbent will need to have had experience in conducting primary data collection with patients, including performance of neuropsychological testing, performing venipuncture, working in a research setting and experience managing data. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and must have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Must have the ability to deal effectively and professionally with a variety of persons. Statistical analysis skills also needed. No physical demands – mostly desk work. Will travel to multiple area hospitals. Master's Degree. Neuro-science, neuropsychology or related field.
