Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements: This position provides research support to NIH/NIMH funded “Center for Trauma in The Community” including general division research support to the research administrator and departments research faculty. The Clinical Research Assistant will facilitate proposed research activates for the Center grant (P20) including correspondence, website communication, coordinating meetings/conference, arranging speakers, etc. Assist with monthly training meetings, organizing files, conference planning, record minutes, scheduling appointments and coordination of travel arrangements for designated faculty. Assist investigators with data collection procedures including scheduling of interviews, recruitment of subjects, conducting interviews; coordination dissemination and collection of surveys; and collecting data using other social science data collection tools. Maintains files and databases according to predetermined guidelines set by principal investigators. Conduct basic statistical analysis as instructed by the principal investigators. Assist Research Administrator in proposal preparation/ electronic grant submissions; maintain IRB database, financial paperwork, processing of grant expenditures, assist with supervision of student help, etc. BA in Psychology or related field with basic statistical experience. Some clinical experience preferred and strong organizational skills, with knowledge of following software programs SPSS, SAS, Endnotes, Excel, Work, Power Point, Access.
