The Cancer Control Program at Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center of Georgetown University is seeking an experienced, dynamic individual to coordinate national research studies in cancer and aging. The studies involve collecting data from older breast cancer patients from around the US to understand ability to tolerate chemotherapy, how women do after chemotherapy, survivorship issues in the older population and clinical and health policy recommendations following from the studies.
The successful candidate will have experience in research and coordinating studies in multiple sites, excellent organizational capacity, strong written and verbal communication skills, experience supervising field staff and interviewers, familiarity with regulatory and human subjects’ requirements and managing and ensuring data quality.
Salary commensurate with experience; excellent benefits package, including eligibility for tuition reimbursement. Excellent environment for career advancement. Position well suited for pre-doctoral students. Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in a public health, clinical research or public policy discipline and prior research experience.
