Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements: The Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (cew.georgetown.edu) is actively seeking an experienced quantitative programmer/analyst. The Center is developing a research agenda focusing on workplace skills and competencies as they link with and to formal education. Will work to create an exhaustive data engine and synthetic data base capable of addressing three core areas of research. Ideal candidate has experience with O*Net data and understand the O*Net construct, can understand the development of WorkKeys, be well versed on the 21st century skills movement and have a background in workforce development. Requires Bachelor's degree and five years experience programming in Stata or SAS with the ability to transfer data between SAS and STATA. Demonstrated experience with Census and CPS data and/or NCES datasets including ELS and NELS desired. Must also be able to summarize statistical results for senior staff.
