Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements:	The Project Assistant (PA) assists the Project Manager (PM) on a clinical trial involving 40 participants. Specifically, they will: 1) assist the PI and PC with recruitment and retention; 2) assist with the informed consent process; 3) deliver intervention; 4) make all follow-up phone calls; and, 5) collect, enter and correctly code data; 6) draw blood after receiving training from the GCRC. TH PA will be expected to drive to participant homes, recruitment sites and elsewhere as needed by the study. The PA should maintain a valid driver’s license. The PA will be on the road a minimum of 50% of the time. Spanish fluency required. Bachelor’s degree required with one year research experience preferred. Knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS preferred. M/S Word, M/S Excel, M/S Access, and excellent organization skills. Taking pride and ownership in the development and maintenance of a large clinical trail is essential. Expert fluency in Spanish is required.
