Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements: Development Coordinator for Development Services administers the donor agreement process on behalf of the Main Campus and the Medical Center; serves as a technical advisor to fundraisers on issues related to donor agreements (both gift agreements and statements of intent), with a particular emphasis on financial aid and faculty excellence endowments; works closely with representatives from a cross-section of groups across the campus; assists in developing processes and procedures that enhance productivity and effectiveness to the gift management system; participates in and supports all aspects of endowed gift creation, tracking donor agreements, and providing relevant material to fund raisers on products and price points to help them in their solicitation of endowment gifts and current use major gifts for the campaign; provides monthly reports to management and university leaders on key indicators regarding pending and executed gift agreements and statements of intent; and provides customer service and stewardship with courteous, accurate and timely responses to inquiries from internal and external constituents.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree; at least three years of professional experience – preference for experience working in a contract administration and management, paralegal, and/or a university development environment. Superior attention to detail, organizational skills and proven experience in prioritizing assignments and completing tasks in a systematic manner; excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills; demonstrated technical proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) – and experience with project management, contract management or work-flow process software is a plus; strong collaborative and project management skills, as well as strong problem solving skills; ability to interact effectively with multiple staff members; and ability to exercise good judgment and ethical behavior in handling confidential material with sensitivity and discretion with both internal and external stakeholders.
