Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements:	Evaluate students with psychological problems. Prescribe and monitor medication for psychiatric illness. Educate students about their illness and medication. Provide psychotherapy where indicated. Participate in on-call system. Provide psychiatric consultation services to staff and assist with management of emergencies. Consult with parents, faculty and other mental health providers as needed. Support outreach efforts. Requires M.D. or D.O. degree. Board certification preferred. Board eligibility required in psychiatry. Competency in the treatment of anxiety and depression, psyhchosis, bipolar illness and one or more of the following: eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma. Sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues. This is a 2 month temporary position , 30 hours per week.
