Duties And Responsibilities

Incumbent will serve as programmer analyst for the Cancer Control Program (CCP) research faculty and assist with planned and ongoing analyses of grants within the CCP. In this position he/she will be in charge of creating and managing existing and planned databases and conducting complex statistical analysis of datasets derived from these databases. He/She will work with multiple PIs to develop tailored solutions to the specific needs of individual research projects.
He/She will interact closely with Lombardi’s Clinical Informatics group and ensure that the databases and analyses in support of the cancer control program follow the best practices outlined by the Lombardi Informatics group for projects such as G-Doc (Georgetown Database of Cancer)
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Social Science with at least 3 years of experience programming for purposes of statistical analyses of complex datasets.
Three years of experience with SAS programming required for this position. General use of word processing and spreadsheets (MS Office Access, Powerpoint Word, Excel)
