Employer Outreach Director, Career Services
Georgetown University Law Center, located two blocks from Capitol Hill, seeks applications for a one year term position of Employer Outreach Director, Career Services.
The Employer Outreach Director reports directly to the Assistant Dean for Career Services. The Employer Outreach Director will devote most of his/her time to employer outreach, especially to trade associations, non-legal or quasi-legal positions on the Hill, corporations, think tanks, law firms in regional markets and small and medium law firms around the country.
Qualifications: Prior related experience (e.g. legal career advising, recruiting, marketing and lawyer professional development) and JD or equivalent degree required as well as prior legal experience. Experience with outreach to a variety of legal employers and knowledge of legal markets essential. Experience with marketing and outreach desired. Background in career advising for lawyers and law students is valuable.
