Director of Planned Giving
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, though a Master’s Degree or significant graduate or postgraduate study in legal, accounting or financial planning is highly preferred; preference given for additional professional education or formal training in charitable gift and estate planning and/or familiarity with financial and tax planning. At least seven years of successful fundraising experience (preferably capital campaign), with a successful record in cultivating qualified prospects, and securing significant individual gifts, including the participation of volunteers. A strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, an aptitude for analyzing data, and flexibility necessary to manage variety of priorities. Availability and willingness to travel on a regional or national basis and to participate in evening and weekend events as necessary.
