Welcome
The Office of Academic Affairs reinforces the relationship between the School’s liberal and professional studies programs and the fundamental Jesuit values of Georgetown, bridging academic rigor with human values, ethics, and cura personalis, a central belief in each individual’s unique needs and gifts. We monitor student progress to ensure that minimum academic standards are met; serve as the final point of appeal for exceptions to policy; assess overall program quality; and provide academic trainings and workshops to students, faculty, and staff in the School’s credit and non-credit, high school, undergraduate, and graduate programs.
For-credit programs offered by Georgetown are accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and all graduate programs, including the Master of Professional Studies, Master of Arts in Liberal Studies, and Doctor of Liberal Studies, have been approved by the Graduate School at Georgetown.
Rachael Godlove, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs
