This two course program examines new and advanced areas of legal ethics and professional responsibility for paralegals. Students completing the two-course sequence, including Ethics Compliance for Paralegals and Advanced Professional Responsibility for Paralegals, will receive a Writ of Completion in Paralegal Ethics and Professional Responsibility upon successful completion of the program.

The ethics program will be taught by Heather Bupp-Habuda, esquire, former legal ethics counsel for the District of Columbia Bar. Now in private practice concentrating on ethics, Ms. Bupp-Habuda remains a popular speaker at continuing legal education classes on legal ethics and professional responsibility throughout the region. Professor Bupp-Habuda has been on the Georgetown University Paralegal Studies faculty since 2006, where she teaches Legal Ethics and Legal Technology.
