Description:
This program is designed to help professionals develop expertise and competency in the area of real estate investment. The certificate will concentrate on the core skills required to prudently invest and develop real estate. The certificate program of study develops skills in real estate finance, pro-forma financial statements, investment strategy, taxes, legal issues and property management. The real estate industry is a multi-faceted, complex investment opportunity. Students will be expected to prepare their own business plan to demonstrate how they will succeed in real estate.
Please Note: This certificate will no longer be offered following the Spring 2008 academic term although the individual courses will. Anyone who begins the certificate program during Spring 2008 or earlier will be eligible for the certificate once all six courses are completed.
