Course Description:

Our lives succeed or fail one conversation at a time. This course explores the elements that contribute to difficult conversations. It examines communication conflict styles, explores listening techniques, and discusses the communication strategies necessary for reframing conversations. While you cannot control what another person says, you can be strategic about the messages that you develop. This course provides a framework for approaching conversations that you might be dreading or avoiding.

Course topics include:

  • Analyzing your conflict style
  • Understanding your listening approach
  • Reframing the conversation
  • Creating a positive mental model
  • Practicing the framework
