Course Description:

No aspect could better reflect the spirit of a language more than art and culture. This course is designed to enrich Arabic language learning through exploring Arabic literature and thoughts, poetry recitation combined with calligraphy, folk songs and dance, Islamic medieval art, Middle Eastern custom and tradition. The main goal of the course is to enhance conversational and written Arabic, reading and listening skills, grammar and usage of words and idioms, discourse rules, composing letters, notes, greeting cards, and paragraphs; all throughout a journey in modern and ancient era of Arabic and Islamic culture.
