Course Description:

Over the past 50 years franchising has evolved into one of the most dynamic, transformative business strategies in the world. This session will cover the following key related areas:

  • Operations & Systems: The backbone of a franchise company is its ability to effectively operate, which require robust systems, manuals and operations. This session will examine various operating styles, systems and techniques.

  • Ongoing Support for Success: Supporting franchisees is the key role for a franchise system and it changes as the franchise system grows, requiring the franchisor to look at advisory councils, regional support and communication models.

  • Strategic Planning: This session is designed to assist franchise professionals in seeing their organization from a strategic prospective. A review of various franchise strategies will be considered including strategic alliances, co-branding relationships and other emerging strategies in the franchise sector.
