Course Description:

Successful property and project management often plays a critical role in determining whether an investment will be successful. Whether it be rental property management or renovation and development project management, this class covers many tools and techniques to improve management capabilities.

Course Topics will include:

  • Common property management challenges
  • Contracting fundamentals
  • Trends and techniques to successful rentals
  • Managing contractors
  • Self vs. outsourced resource analysis

Learning Objective:

Students will learn how to identify and address the challenges associated with project and property management. Students will also be able to assess outsourcing and determine how to best monitor subcontractors.
