Course Description:

Consistently real estate investing has created extensive wealth in the United States. During the past five years investors have received unprecedented returns; however, the real estate market recently has shown signs of a decline. Investors must now be more careful than ever before investing. This class is designed to help the first time investor navigate in a challenging environment. This course will provide instruction on the fundamentals of residential real estate investing for inexperienced and small scale investors. By developing an understanding of the real estate investing fundamentals, participants will be better prepared to prudently invest. The course will address topics such as: the rent equation, property management, property searches, renovations, financing, taxes and cash flow analysis.

Objective:

Students will learn the fundamentals of residential real estate investing.
