Course Description:

Real estate involves significant legal considerations. Real estate transactions are based upon common law in addition to state statues. Students will learn to appreciate the myriad legal issues that require consideration in any real estate investment. The class will cover contract basics and landlord tenant statutes.

All real estate investment and transactions should apply basic finance concepts. This will allow the potential investor to determine whether a particular project is worthy of investment or not. In addition, the real estate finance class will provide information of the types of funds and programs available to investors.
