Course Description:

What makes an effective review? Who should say whether a book or movie or piece of art is good or bad? What are the obligations of a reviewer to his audience, to the artist or author? Students will learn how to offer a critical perspective in an engaging and powerful manner.

*Please note: Students are asked to bring their personal laptops to class. They will be used for in-class projects and assignments.
