TOEFL Writing

Course Description:

This course is designed to prepare students to take the writing component of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). During the class sessions, students will:

  1. learn a variety of writing skills and test-taking strategies,
  2. explore the vocabulary and sentence structures which relate to a particular writing topic,
  3. write complete essays on TOEFL writing topics, and
  4. edit and correct their essays paying particular attention to learning the rules of correct grammar in English.

All student essays will be evaluated based on the TOEFL writing scale.

The course is open to students of all levels of English ability and there is no entrance exam.

Early registration is encouraged as enrollment is limited.
