Nicky Crane
Crane specializes in interactive marketing, strategic communications, customer relationship management, and training.
Her extensive experience includes creating strategic plans, marketing campaigns, communications plans and products, trainings and workshops for numerous organizations, including: tier-one consulting firms, top international firms, non-profits, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Army, and the Department of Defense. Crane has developed marketing strategy, products and business development initiatives for the antitrust, asbestos, business analytics, chemicals, commercial litigation, consumer finance, corporate finance, defense, economics, energy, environmental and product liability, glass, higher education, intellectual property, legal, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and telecommunications industries.
Her favorite projects include working with an award-winning call center to improve its’ customers’ experiences, leading an award-winning Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team, developing business and market entry strategy for a top international company, serving as subject matter expert on multiple social networking strategy projects, and creating award-winning employee engagement communications.
She consults for Booz Allen Hamilton, serves on the American Marketing Association-DC Board, and is the former editor of Strategies and Insight (two marketing journals). She also is a multiple award recipient for marketing and communications plans and products. Crane is a graduate of Colgate University, and studied at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and University of Freiburg (Germany). She is a certified practitioner in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), CRM Social Media 2.0, Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Public Participation.
She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, and is an active volunteer in her community.
