Maggie Debelius

Maggie Debelius is the Director of the Writing Center at Georgetown University, where she also teaches in the English Department. The author of So What Are You Going to Do With That?: A Guide to Career Changing for M.A.s and Ph.D.s and the forthcoming Chicago Guide to Postacademic Careers, she studies the intersections between academic and business writing. In addition to teaching students at the University of Colorado, Princeton, and the Smithsonian, she has written for major media companies, including Time-Life, PBS and America Online. She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.A. from Georgetown and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
