William Droms, Ph.D.

William G. Droms is the John J. Powers, Jr. Professor of Finance in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University where he teaches investments in the undergraduate and MBA programs. He is the author or co-author of 12 books on finance and investments, including Investment Fundamentals, The Dow Jones-Irwin Guide to Personal Financial Planning, Dow Jones-Irwin No-Load Mutual Funds, and The Life Insurance Investment Advisor.
He also is Chairman of Droms Strauss Advisors, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor specializing in providing investment management and counseling services to high net worth individuals, pension funds, and endowment funds. Dr. Droms is a graduate of Brown University, holds a Master's and Doctorate in Business Administration from George Washington University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Dr. Droms is the program director of the Executive Certificate in Financial Planning.
