Lori Hill
As president of lori hill event productions, inc. (lhep), an award-winning full service event production company, Lori produces meetings and events for corporations, non-profit and non-government organizations, the Federal government and educational institutions in the Baltimore-Washington area.
Some of the many events she has planned include a conference featuring President George W. Bush, an historic 12-day visit by members of the Baghdad City Council, a 1,000-person one-day conference on North Korean human rights; and donor events at the University of Maryland's Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center that featured Branford Marsalis, Edward Asner, James Cromwell and Sharon Gless.
Lori is a proud member of the International Special Events Society (ISES), a worldwide organization of nearly 5,000 event professionals. She currently sits on the International Board of Governors and is the Past President of the Greater Washington, DC Chapter, the largest of the 43 ISES chapters. During Lori's tenure as chapter president, ISES DC won the prestigious International Chapter of the Year Award. In 2004, lori hill event productions was nominated for the ISES Capital Award for Best Event Under $50,000. In 2005, lhep was a member of the team that won the Capital Award for Best ISES Team and Lori received the President's Award for her many contributions to the Greater Washington, DC chapter. In 2006, Lori received the Chapter Leadership Award for her continued service, contribution and leadership to the chapter. Her involvement in ISES exposes her to the hottest industry trends and the most talented vendors around.
She is a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and The Event Management Program at The George Washington University
