Ken Homa

Distinguished Teaching Professor, McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University

Ken Homa (AB Princeton University, MBA University of Chicago) has a diverse background that includes consulting, strategic planning, marketing, operations, information technology, and academia. He was a consultant with McKinsey prior to becoming V.P. of Marketing for GE and Black & Decker. Currently, he is a Distinguished Teaching Professor on the faculty of the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business teaching graduate courses in marketing and operations. He has earned several teaching awards including “Most Popular Professor” in the 2000 Business Week Graduate School of Business Survey, the “Distinguished Teaching Award” from the MBA classes of 2001 and 2002, and the “Distinguished Service Award” from the MBA classes of 1998, 2001 and 2002 .

Mr. Homa was on the founding Board of Sequoia Software, which was acquired by Citrix Software. He is currently on the Board of Directors of SIRVA, Inc. (a Clayton, Dubilier & Rice portfolio company), and is Chairman of the Board of IQStat, a technology-based media measurement start-up.
