Scott E. Patton

Mr. Patton has over 20 years of extensive experience in technical project and risk management. Currently, he is President of Human Systems North America and he is responsible for providing a network and knowledge management practices to improve corporate project, program, and portfolio management. Using proven tools and processes for benchmarking and competency assessments, he helps clients' implement management strategies and solutions that promote organizational effectiveness and efficiencies. Previously, Mr. Patton was a senior manager for a large, international consulting firm. His work was focused on developing and improving project management capabilities that included managing the risks associated with the acquisition and development of information systems, the development of management processes and controls for information technology (IT) portfolios, the assessments of capital asset and IT portfolio investments, the design and implementation of PMOs, and the development and conduct of project management training. Early in his career, Mr. Patton managed large, international technical projects dealing with nuclear material control and accountability. He has a MBA from Virginia Tech and he has been certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3) Assessor and Consultant.
