Neil Stroul, Ph.D.
Dr. Neil Stroul is a professional psychologist, who left the therapy world for organizational consulting and training in 1979. His entire career has been devoted to helping organizations foster a developmental culture. Focusing on leadership coaching during the last 10 years is the most recent discovery about how to help organizations become more developmental. Neil enjoys working with senior executives and helping them find pathways to maintain their humanity while becoming effective leaders. For him, coaching is the best vehicle he has yet discovered that allows him to express his "best self."
Neil believes that, at its best, leadership is a philosophical proposition. Great leaders want to make a contribution, and leading is how they bring their vision of what the future could be, to the world. Leaders must be clear on who they are and what they stand for. Through their clarity, they demonstrate resolve to find a critical path through paradox and obstacles to create a desirable future for their followers. Great leaders are authentic.
