Chris Wahl, M.A., MCC

Chris Wahl was, in a sense, born to coach. With over 20 years experience, she has coached long before coaching became a viable and credible discipline in organization development. Her coaching practice spans numerous industries and is focused on coaching leaders and their teams. She is dedicated to helping leaders and executives develop a way of being and acting that motivates, inspires, and gets results. She helps leaders and their teams create stability within their dynamic environments so that individuals in organizations can bring forward their very best selves. She believes that the people she coaches are innately wise and resilient, and works to help them remember that. Her intention is to bring out the best in leaders and their environments, and helping the leader pay attention to the results, conversations, relationships, and awareness that sustain excellence.

Chris believes that we are, at the core, spiritual beings who seek the finer things in life: joy, love, belonging, peace, and that these are foundational to excellence in leadership. Her gift as a coach is to see what her clients don't see, to uncover their core wisdom, and to help them live in it more fully as leaders and human beings.

Chris is the creator and director of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certificate Program. Prior to that, she directed the GU Organization Development Certificate Program. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A.Ed. in Counseling. She is a Certified Professional Effectiveness Coach (NVW), as well as a Master Certified Coach (ICF). She is active in ICF as an evaluator for coach certification, a frequent contributor to journals, and frequent speaker at coaching and leadership conferences.
