Georgetown University Offers Free Short Courses for Seniors
This spring, Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies will offer short seminar format courses for persons 55 and over as part of the Georgetown University Learning Community. These courses address art, politics, literature, economics, sociology, history, and science & religion. Taught by Georgetown emeritus faculty members, courses consist of two, three, or four meetings (usually 90 minutes long) in the period between February 22 and April 22, 2008. All interested seniors (55 or older) are welcome to participate. This term there are no registration fees — but pre-registration is necessary to be sure that space remains available in specific courses. The schedule of courses is as follows:

These Georgetown University Learning Community courses are sponsored as a public service by the School of Continuing Studies Center for Continuing and Professional Education, the Association of Main-Campus Retired Faculty (AMCRF), and the Alumni Association.
The Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (‘GUTS-bus’) provides shuttle service from the Rosslyn and Dupont Circle Metro-rail stations to the Main Campus. Metro-buses D6 and G2 serve the GU Main Campus. Parking ($2/hour) is generally available in the South Garage on the GU campus. (Enter from Canal Road.)
