Amanda Shi is a rising senior at The Potomac School located in scenic
McLean, VA. Born in America, Amanda moved to China with her parents
when she was 7 years old. Since then, she has moved from Beijing to
Shanghai and finally back to the U.S. in 2004. While living in
China, Amanda gained the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in
Chinese. Amanda is very involved in her high school theater, where she
acts and does make-up. She is also a section editor of her high school yearbook and volunteers with the Red Cross. She currently resides in McLean, VA with her mom and younger brother.
