Elizabeth Durham is a rising Senior at Ursuline Academy of Dallas in Texas. Liz was driven to the District this summer by her love of trying new things and meeting new people. In her spare time, Liz enjoys playing tennis and community service. She serves as Vice President of Students Reach Out, the school's community service club. Although Liz is still dabbling in career choices, she has high hopes of becoming a journalist. In the summer of 2007, Liz applied for a three week journalism workshop at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. With her acceptance letter in hand and an excited grin on her face, Liz packed her bags and headed for the District.
