Current Liberal Studies doctoral student, Peter Brookes, was recently awarded the 2007 Frank Knox Media Award by the Navy League of New York for his work on national security and defense issues. The presentation was made at the Navy League's annual dinner in New York City. Mr. Brooks is Senior Fellow for National Security Affairs for The Heritage Foundation.
DLS student, Pablo Molina, is featured in the July 9th edition of “Computer World” as one of the “Top 40 under 40 Technology Innovators.” He serves as the Chief Information Officer of the Georgetown University Law Center.
’05 DLS students, Gerard Puckerin with the assistance of James Burn planned and hosted a welcome and reception evening on Friday, June 22 for the first three classes of DLS students, ’05, ‘06, ’07 featuring a presentation by one of the current ’05 students, Sam Morrison.
