CURRICULUM

The Master of Professional Studies Degree (MPS) and the Advanced Professional Certificate (APC) are designed for students interested in furthering their education in the journalism, public relations/corporate communications, and sports industry management fields. Masters degree candidates must successfully complete 30 credits of coursework: a 3-credit core course; eight 3-credit courses selected from the various offerings and tracks in the chosen concentration; and a 3-credit capstone course. To earn the APC, students must complete 15 credits (5 courses) chosen from one of the two concentrations. Each student is assigned an academic advisor to customize their educational path.
