"It's a lot of reading. It's a lot of writing," Rhonda Johnson says with a chuckle, quoting the words of warning she heard before entering the Liberal Studies bachelor's program.

With spotty health, Rhonda wasn't sure she could handle the work. And with a background in computers and a job in systems applications, she was concerned that her study skills might be rusty. She dreamed of finishing her college degree, however, so she took the plunge.
