Transportation Services

Main Campus Transportation
Georgetown University Transportation Services, also known as the GUTS bus, is a free service (with GoCard) that operates five shuttle routes, connecting the campus to the Georgetown University Law Center on Capitol Hill; to University offices on Wisconsin Avenue; to Metro stations at Rosslyn (Virginia) and Dupont Circle (District of Columbia); and to various stops in Arlington, Va.

Georgetown is not located on a Metro (subway) line, so use of bus service is the most direct way to get to campus. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit busses G2, 38B, and D2 make stops close to campus. Visit wmata.com to see routes and timetables.

The Circulator Bus also has two routes that service the Georgetown area, the Rosslyn-Georgetown-Dupont line and the Georgetown-Union Station line. See the Circulator System Map to find routes.

Clarendon Facility Transportation
To get to the School of Continuing Studies Clarendon Campus (across the street from the Clarendon Metro station) you can take the Metro Orange Line, the GUTS Shuttle (Arlington Loop Route), or MetroBus 38B.

Parking

Main Campus Parking
Campus parking is available for a fee in the Southwest Quad Parking Garage, which is accessible through the Canal Street and Prospect Street entrances to campus.  As parking space on campus is very limited, the use of public transportation is highly recommended, especially during campus events.  For more information about parking on campus visit otm.georgetown.edu.

Clarendon Facility Parking
The Clarendon Campus is located on the second floor of the Hartford Building in Arlington, Va. Students may park in the building's garage, which is located on Herndon Street and operated by MetroPark Inc.
