SPRING 2009
Housing
Students enrolled in the Semester in Washington Program are entitled but not required to live in Georgetown University housing.
In the spring 2009 semester, SWP students staying in Georgetown residence halls will be housed in double, triple, or quad rooms. To access background information, detailed descriptions, and photos of the various living accommodations available on campus, please visit the Georgetown University Housing page.
Students withdrawing from the program must move out of Georgetown University residence halls by the close of business of the effective date of withdrawal.

Housing and Roommate Assignments
Students in the SWP are housed in December and will be notified by email. At this time, students can also log on to their Housing at a Glance page (accessible through the Housing website) using their Net Id and password to see their housing assignment and their roommates.
Check-In
Check-in is on Tuesday, January 6, 2008, in the Residence Hall Office (RHO) of the student’s assigned building. SWP students who arrive late, can either check in at their RHO or in the Housing Services Office (Harbin 103), depending on how late they arrive. Costs
Georgetown University housing rates range from an estimated $3,818.00 to $4,595.00 per semester, depending on the occupancy rate and residence hall.

Meal Plans
SWP students may select among several Georgetown meal plans. Meal plans are offered for the entire semester only. For spring meal plan options, please visit the Georgetown University Dining Services page.
Sign-Up
Admitted students may sign up for a Georgetown University Meal Plan through Student Access+.
Costs
Georgetown University meal plan rates per semester range from $548.00 for a total of 45 meals to $2,128.00 for a carte blanche. For spring meal plan options and prices, please visit the Georgetown University Dining Services page.

SUMMER 2009
Housing
Students enrolled in the Semester in Washington Program are entitled to Georgetown University housing. SWP students are not required to live in Georgetown University housing.
In the summer program, SWP students are housed together in one of Georgetown University’s residency halls. For example, in the Summer 2008 Program, accommodations for SWP students were available in Alumni Square, a complex of four-person apartments, each containing two bedrooms with two beds each.

Check-In

Housing Cost
Housing cost $TBA for ten weeks, May 31-Aug. 8, 2009.
(Housing cost summer 2008 was $2,070 for ten weeks, June 1-Aug. 9, 2008.)
Housing Application
Once admitted into the Semester in Washington Program, students will receive housing information and forms with their admission packages. SWP students pay housing costs directly to the Semester in Washington Program housing coordinator, who will register the students with Georgetown University’s Housing Office.
Students withdrawing from the program must move out of Georgetown University residence halls by the close of business of the effective date of withdrawal.
