Application Information

Partial-tuition scholarships are available in limited numbers for Semester in Washington students.

Non-Georgetown students can apply for limited scholarship assistance directly from the SWP. Interested students may download a scholarship application here.

Application Deadline

Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. However, early submission is recommended because funds are limited.

Eligibility

All scholarship applicants must have submitted their complete application or must have been accepted into the Semester in Washington Program to be considered for a scholarship.

Non-Georgetown Students: Students who are not degree candidates at Georgetown University can apply for limited scholarship assistance directly from the Semester in Washington Program.

Georgetown Degree Candidates: Georgetown University degree candidates seeking information about scholarships and other financial assistance should visit the Georgetown University Office of Student Financial Services web site or call that office at (202) 687-4547.

Awards Process

Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Awards are based on financial need and academic merit. Only complete applications, as outlined on the scholarship application, will be considered for scholarship. All scholarship applicants must have also submitted their complete application or must have been accepted into the Semester in Washington Program to be considered for a scholarship. Scholarship announcements will be mailed on a rolling basis.
