- Jeffrey Anderson, Graf
Goltz Professor and Director of the BMW Center and Professor
of Government, oversees the entire range of Center academic
and research programs. Prof. Anderson is also responsible for
representing the Center in its relationships within and outside
the University, and oversees the Center's public activities.
- Katrin Sieg, is Director of the Master of Arts in German and European Studies (MAGES) and Associate Professor in the Department of German and School of Foreign Service. Prof. Sieg bears primary responsibility for the academic programs of the Center, overseeing the curriculum and coordinating basic policy issues with the University departments on which the Center draws
- Stacey M. Hall, Administrative Assistant, provides general administrative support and manages operations of the front office. She assists faculty and students, and serves as the Center's receptionist. Prior to coming to the BMW Center, Stacey served as a Faculty Assistant at the Law School. She holds an M.A. in Public Communication from The American University in Washington, D.C. and a B.A. in American Studies from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass.
- Kimberly
Jaeger, Supervisor of Academic Programs, serves as the point
of contact for all MAGES student issues, from recruitment and
admissions, to counseling, academic administration, course scheduling
and alumni relations. Ms. Jaeger earned her B.S.L.A. and M.A.
in German from Georgetown University.
- Christina M. Ruby, Center Administrator, oversees the full range of
Center operations. In addition to ensuring support for the Center's
faculty and programs, she handles its financial, human resource,
and office management. She also oversees the Center's print
and web publications.
Executive Committee
The Center Director works closely with an Executive
Committee comprised of the Dean of the School of Foreign Service,
Center faculty, faculty representatives of departments with which
the Center has joint degree programs, and a MAGES student. The
Executive Committee meets monthly to establish programmatic and
curricular policies, and to facilitate cooperation and coordination
among the various parts of the University associated with the
Center.
Advisory Council
In addition to the Executive Committee, the Center
has an Advisory Council consisting of prominent Americans, Germans,
and other Europeans from the private and public sectors as well
as from academe. The Council meets annually to advise the directing
staff and faculty, and to provide consultation and guidance for
the Center leadership as it explores and defines future programs
and policies.
