Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the 2007-2008 academic year for MAGES students will be $16,704 per semester ($33,408 for the year). Additionally, all full-time students at Georgetown University are assessed recreational facility and activities fees of approximately $275 per year.

Living Expenses

Students should allow approximately $2,200 per month for living expenses such as room and board, books, and personal expenses while at Georgetown.

Payments and Deposit

All University charges are due in full on or before the day of registration. Applicants who have been accepted for admission must submit a non-refundable deposit of $200 to secure a place in the program. This deposit will be applied to tuition upon registration.

Tuition for MAGES/Ph.D. Joint Degree

Students in joint MAGES/Ph.D. programs who have completed all course requirements and are preparing for comprehensive examinations and/or engaged in dissertation research pay tuition at the rate of $2,500 per year ($625.00 for non-resident tuition) in 2007-2008. Tuition for MAGES/J.D Joint Degree

The joint student is considered a law student for three out of the four years of the program, and would be subject to law school tuition and financial aid arrangements for three out of four years. This would typically mean that students would be eligible for Law Center funding and subject to Law Center tuition and fees in their first year, Main Campus funding and tuition levels in their second year, and go back to Law Center Funding and tuition arrangements for all subsequent years. Student Health Insurance

Student Health Insurance is available to all graduate students for a fee of $1,910 per student for the academic year. (New rates will be published in the summer for the 2007-2008 academic year.)
