STUDENTS

Students obtaining their degrees in Brazilian Studies from the Center for Latin American Studies have access to numerous opportunities, in addition to the courses which they take, for increasing their knowledge, experience and future career opportunities in relation to Brazil. For example, the BSP offers students a wide range of reference materials in both English and Portuguese for research on Brazil. It also provides students with information on various institutions and organizations that offer possibilities of internships and other work opportunities both in the Washington DC area and Brazil. Also, in our Events Section, students can access information on various cultural events and activities relating to Brazil that are happening in the Washington area.

BSP Reference Materials

Beginning in the Fall of 2006, students can find a series of publications that focus on Brazil, including country's analysis, specific studies and various statistics in the Brazilian Studies Program's office, located in the ICC Building Room 450. A complete on-line list of the BSP library books, catalogues and other publications available to consult and take home for research can be checked here.
