BOGOTÁ: THE PROUD REVIVAL OF A CITY
Bogotá has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past 15 years. This exhibition marks the transformation and achievements, not only in the areas of policy and government programs, but also with regard to culture, sports, transportation, and public space. All of the achievements are presented with relation to how they have markedly improved public safety, security, and peaceful coexistence in Bogotá. The exhibition was first unveiled in Venice, Italy in September-November 2006 at the 10th International Architecture Exhibition within the theme of Cities: Architecture and Society. Since then, the exhibition has traveled the world, appearing at the Museo de Bogotá and the Bogota Chamber of Commerce in early 2007, and opening in Washington, DC in at the Interamerican Development Bank and Georgetown University in October 2007. Next, the exhibition will appear in Amsterdam, Netherlands from November 2007 - January 2008. Later in 2008, the event is expected to make further appearances in Mexico City and Paris.
