Lieutenant Colonel Thomas K. Hensley is a career US Air Force intelligence officer. Prior to his selection as a National Defense Fellow, Lieutenant Colonel Hensley served as commander of an officer and enlisted general intelligence training squadron in Texas, where he led operations for 175 instructors and staff and 2,800 multiservice intelligence students/year in four Air Force Specialty Codes, nine Distributed Common Ground Station weapon system Formal Training Unit, and seven advanced intelligence courses. He has supported combat operations in support of Operations Deny Flight, Deliberate Force, Southern Watch, and Enduring Freedom.
Lieutenant Colonel Hensley is a distinguished graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor in Business Management. He also holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, a Masters of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College, and a Masters in Air and Space Power Studies from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies. His military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters.
