The Horace Porter Fund
The Horace Porter Endowment Fund was established to honor the late Horace Porter, U.S. Ambassador to France (1897-1905) by Col. and Mrs. Henry McHarg and Mr. Horace P. Mende.
The Porter Endowment values research in issues in international affairs likely to be more important or more critical in the next several years than at present and what the United States or other countries or international organizations could do to influence that issue.
To further this research, the Porter Fund will provide travel grants to applicants conducting research in a variety of issues in foreign policy, strategy, diplomacy, and the future of international relations.
Open to all SFS juniors and first-year MSFS students, the Porter Fund will provide three travel grants up to $1,000.00.
