Xiao Junyong
Visiting Scholar

Dr. Xiao Junyong is a visiting scholar at the Institute for the Study of International Migration in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.  Dr. Junyong obtained his Ph.D. at the Law Institute of Chinese Academy of Society Sciences (CASS) in 2004.  He then joined the University of International Relations (UIR, Beijing 100091) as an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Law Department. He had previously taught course on constitutional law and jurisprudence at Hunan University in China for 5 years. Dr. Xiao Junyong has published numerous papers and monographs on human rights safeguarding and constitutionalism development in the latest years. He earned Master of Jurisprudence from Hunan Normal University.
Dr. Xiao Junyong focuses on work and research that covers human rights, government  legislation, law and policy, and constitutional development.
