The deadline for submissions to Issue 9.1 is September 1, 2007. Articles submitted to the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs must be original, must not be drawn substantially from articles previously published by the author, and must not be simultaneously submitted to any other publication. Articles should be around 3,000 words in length.
Manuscripts must be typewritten and double-spaced, with margins of at least one inch. Although citations are encouraged, descriptive endnotes are not. Authors should follow the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th ed.
Articles may be submitted via e-mail or by U.S. mail; those sent by U.S. mail must include both a soft copy on a compact disc and a hard copy. Full names and contact information of authors must accompany each submission.
The Journal will consider all manuscripts submitted, but assumes no obligation regarding publication. All material submitted is returnable only if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included.
