The School of Foreign Service, the Mortara Center for International Studies, the Center for Peace and Security Studies, and the Nuclear Threat Initiative are pleased to present a debate on "The Threat of WMD Terrorism" between Robert Gallucci, Dean of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, and Daniel Byman, Director of the Center for Peace and Security Studies. The event will take place on Wednesday, January 24'th at 6:00PM at the Intercultural Center Auditorium on Georgetown University's main campus, and will include a screening and discussion of the "The Last Best Chance", a docudrama that shows the threat posed by vulnerable nuclear weapons and materials around the world. Families of September 11 and the Nuclear Threat Initiative have joined together to raise awareness about the threat of nuclear terrorism and what people can do to help prevent it, and this debate is intended to highlight the key issues facing policymakers as they grapple with this threat.
