- Identify and address the academic challenges of the tutees by using the tutee's own experience and skills in tutoring;
- Establish immediate and continuing rapport with the tutee.
- Continually evaluate and improve your tutoring expertise. By using a variety
of tutoring methods, not only will you help your tutee understand material
better, but you will also increase your own knowledge of the subject area you
are tutoring.
