Georgetown University (GU) requires students enrolled in a study abroad program to be enrolled in the Study Abroad Student Health Insurance Plan arranged by CMI Insurance Worldwide, an insurance agency. In addition, most full-time students must be enrolled in another health insurance plan that covers medical expenses of at least $100,000 per illness and $100,000 per injury while they are in the United States.
