Friday Food Program

Project Coordinators: Matt Toth & Greg Baltz

Friday Food is a program that attends to the social needs of the homeless community in Dupont Circle. We get together in Riverside Lounge at 5:30, make around 20 bagged dinners of sandwiches, granola bars and juice and then head to Dupont. While we distribute food, conversation is really the most important factor of our program. While grateful, most of these guys can find food if they have to. We're mainly there to give them some to sit and talk to for a half hour. They have incredible stories and offer insight into the life of homeless people in Washington D.C.

Meet at the HOPE office (New South Office Space) at 5:30 pm
Every Friday.
(When school is in session.)

Upcoming Project Dates:

Every Friday (first project after Labor Day; no project before Columbus day weekend or Thanksgiving)
